Beet Boost

I recently grabbed a ‘boost’ juice from Benugo and I loved the concept of having a mini pick-me-up shot of goodness. Sometimes I struggle with fibrous foods and juicing is a sure way of getting those nutrients in.

So I took the elements of the Benugo boost shot I had (beetroot lemon and ginger), mixed up the ratios to suit my palette and voila! It’s zingy, delicious and packed with goodness.

  • 1 fresh organic beetroot
  • 2 small carrots (to give it a little more volume)
  • Knob of ginger
  • Slide of peeled lemon


  • yes, my nails are beetroot-inspired too.
